Community & Associations

The communities we serve are held together by the caring spirit and rugged-independence typical of Texas and its neighbors. We are proud to be a part of these communities, and it is our honor to support local businesses and nonprofits in the cities we serve. Beyond our local communities, we also have state and national associations and affiliations. Here is a quick look at our professional associations and community involvement.

Community Involvement

Chamber BBQ - The Good Times Celebration BBQ Cook-Off is an Amarillo tradition. Wash down all the delicious BBQ with some tea at the DSS booth.

Amarillo Business Connections - We are happy to connect with the Amarillo business community at the largest trade show in the area.

Lubbock Business Expo - We love to support business networking and community growth through our participation in the expo.

Snack Pack 4 Kids - This fantastic organization provides area school children with new, brand-name food every week to guarantee they have something to eat over the weekend. We are humbled to help them fight hunger in our schools by volunteering the time of Sales Rep, Mark Bullard and the use of a DSS vehicle to deliver food to the schools every week. Learn more about Snack Pak 4 Kids and how to get involved here.

Downtown Women’s Center - The DWC offers housing and other services to help their clients overcome homelessness and conquer addiction. It is our honor to work with them in sponsoring an apartment at Gratitude House to help a single mother and her family get back on their feet and transition back to a self-sufficient life. The DWC has countless opportunities to volunteer and give. You can learn more here.
