Secure Your Information With Our Residential Shredding Services

In the digital age, it’s easy to focus on online security and forget about something just as important — the security of our physical documents. Document Shredding and Storage offers residential shredding across parts of Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma to help protect your privacy, prevent identity theft, and ensure your personal information stays safe.

Old bank statements, medical records, tax forms, and other personal documents can easily fall into the wrong hands if not disposed of properly. By securely shredding these documents, you can protect your personal information, maintain a clutter-free home, and contribute to environmentally friendly practices, as most shredded paper gets recycled. Protect your peace of mind by making personal document shredding a regular habit. Contact us today for more information.

Why It’s Important to Shred Your Documents

Identity theft is on the rise, and it’s not just digital data at risk. Credit card bills, junk mail, insurance documents, and other personal finance documents contain information that identity thieves can use to wreak havoc on your life. From account numbers and pre-approved credit offers to personal details like your name and address, these documents are a goldmine for criminals looking to commit fraud. Shredding personal documents is your first line of defense against this growing threat, ensuring that your private information doesn’t end up in the wrong hands. By taking this simple step, you can protect yourself from financial loss, stress, and the long process of recovering your stolen identity.

How It Works

Whether you need on-site shredding, drop-off locations, or scheduled pickups, we provide flexible solutions to handle your sensitive information securely. Shredding your documents is easy and convenient with our three options for service:

What You Shouldn’t Put in Shred Boxes

While personal finance document shredding is a crucial step in protecting your privacy, there are specific items that should never be placed in shred boxes. Glossy materials, such as photographs, magazine pages, or laminated items, can clog the shredder and are unsuitable for standard non-business-related shredding. Similarly, plastic materials like credit cards, CDs, or DVDs should be disposed of using methods designed for those materials, as they can damage the shredder blades. Additionally, it’s essential to properly prepare your documents by removing large paper clips, binder clips, or staples. These metal items can jam or dull the shredder, leading to potential malfunctions.
